Retired from the US Navy as Lieutenant Commander in 1994, I have had tremendous opportunities in leadership and mentoring. Most of my adult life has been spent serving our country in one fashion or another, and I am proud when folks thank me for my servant heart. Now, at an exciting 59 years' young, I remain active, most recently working as master educator, trouble shooter and problem-solver for the government. I stepped away from my job to campaign for office in the recent race for NC House District 15. While the campaign was daunting, even more frightening to me is for us to be represented by men who have all of their political prowess wrapped up in Party Politics. I intend to remain involved in the healing process our community, state and nation need through this next election cycle, and hope to be involved in reducing polittical corruption wherever possible. I thank God that He gave me the insight to be able to live big, serve consistenly and love large!
