Ms. Miller plans to make the Representative position transparent, so that all citizens can make a difference in our local, regional and State decision processes. District 15 needs to be seen and heard from. Her goals are to:
· Focus on improving the health and welfare of our foundational family unit.
· Strive to reduce government spending, curtail deficit spending and streamline the State budget.
· Develop new and innovative ways to connect people with jobs. Reduce tax rates so that new businesses are attracted to our area. Improve infrastructure as incentive for new businesses.
· Promote High School and higher education degree programs. Establish a vocational/technical career pathway model to reduce our delinquency rates. Streamline school financing so the money gets to the classroom. Reverse the decision to allow illegal aliens to attend our community colleges that are already overcrowded.
· Promote restructuring of tax laws for fairest distribution of the burden of paying for public services. Ms. Miller is an advocate of fair tax strategies. Enable the uninsured to use pre-tax dollars to purchase healthcare.
· Work for better infrastructure East of the I-95 corridor. Use Highway Trust Fund money for road construction and infrastructure vice general operating funds. Update the funding allocation formula to include population, congestion and road conditions as factors.
· Opposed to fees on services, such as fees on commissions, on plumbers, repair services, radio broadcasters. These are no more than another hidden tax agenda.
· Fiscally and ethically conservative, Ms. Miller is a forward-thinker. She is the Representative we need who will tackle the hard issues like our public overspending, waste and inefficiencies. Ms. Miller is capable of digging into each problem, ready to identify solutions, willing to fight for getting government out of our pockets.
